- Education - presentations and materials in local classrooms
- Audubon Nature Trail in Columbia Park - maintenance & new features
- First Saturday Walk on Bateman Island (September-June)
- the Curlew – our local newsletter sent to LCBAS members Sept-June (Click here for free sample)
- Monthly meetings with interesting programs
- Status and distribution of local avian populations (Our checklists, for example)
- Public awareness of political issues
- Saving ridge line and other sensitive habitats
